Holy fuck, this movie was wierd.
I rather enjoyed it though. The performances from all three leads were terrific, and it really had an emotional punch to it. The whole atmosphere about the movie was very creepy. I liked the divorce metaphor as well, it seems like it was through the eyes of the male in the relationship, very similar to David Cronenberg's The Brood, which only came out a few years prior to this movie.
I think my favorite thing about this film were the camera movements. There was rarely an instance in which the camera stood still, it was always moving, panning, circling around the characters, which lent a lot to the crazed atmosphere the film was building up to.
